Our mission is to provide comfortable and safe homes where homeless veterans can effectively transition from homelessness. Our program is for those who have fallen upon “bad luck” in life, and are in need of a place to start over fresh. Our clean and sober transitional homes provide this opportunity. We believe in helping yourself—therefore, we have a strict policy that each occupant must be willing to work at least 4 hours per day. HUP will provide work, 2 quality meals per day, a nice comfortable home, toiletries, and clothing for each occupant. We will be there to assist our veterans as long as it takes to make the full transition back into becoming a productive member of society. Although our focus is primarily on helping homeless veterans, others are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Approximately 5% of all funds are allocated for projects in Haiti. Our current focus is in Georgia and California.
